Comfort Colors 1717: a heavyweight cotton tee that is garment-dyed after it is sewn, which gives the colours a soft, lived-in look rather than a flat bright one. For brighter, classic colours, the classic T-shirt is the other choice.

Will my picture be sharp?
Count the pixels across your picture and divide by 150: that is how many inches it prints well. A photo from a phone is usually 3,000 to 4,000 pixels across, enough for any print here. A logo saved from a website is often only 200 to 600 pixels, which suits the left chest but not a big back print. You don’t have to work it out: the make page tells you how big your file prints before you buy, and says so plainly if it is too small.
What makers charge for one
